Daughters of Triton

Sung by: Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Atina, Adella, Allana

Ariel and her sisters are giving a concert for the entire kingdom. Her sisters are all very talented singers who have performed many times and they are excited that this is Ariel's first concert with them.

Ah, we are the daughters of Triton,
great father who loves us and named us well
Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Atina, Adella, Allana, and Ariel
In concert we hope to enlighten
the hearts of the merfolk with music's swell

Aquata... Andrina... Arista... Atina... Adella... Allana...

And then there is the youngest in her musical debut
Our seventh little sister
we're presenting her to you
to sing a song Sebastian wrote
Her voice is like a bell
She's our sister, Ariel!

Poor Unfortunate Souls

Sung by: Ursula, Flotsam and Jetsam

Ursula the Sea Witch is trying to convince Ariel to give up her voice and be human. Starting at 2:04, Ariel asks how she can get to know Prince Eric and fall in love without her voice. Ursula responds:

You’ll have your looks, your pretty face
And don't underestimate the importance of body language, ha!

Come on you poor unfortunate soul
Go ahead
Make your choice
I'm a very busy woman and I haven't got all day
It won't cost much
Just your voice!
You poor unfortunate soul
It's sad but true
If you want to cross the bridge, my sweet
You've got the pay the toll
Take a gulp and take a breath
And go ahead, achieve your goal
Flotsam, Jetsam, now I've got her, boys
The boss is on a roll
This poor unfortunate soul

Les Poissons

Sung by: Chef Louis

Sebastian the Crab makes his way into the Palace Kitchen and runs straight into more trouble: Chef Louis is busy cooking and singing to himself how much he loves cooking seafood!

Les poissons, les poissons
How I love les poissons
Love to chop and to serve little fish
First I cut of their heads
Zen I pull out their bones
Ah mais oui, ça see'est toujours delish

Les poissons, les poissons
Hee hee hee, haw haw haw
With the cleaver I hack them in two
I pull out what's inside
And I serve it up fried
God, I love little fishes, don't you?

Human Stuff

Sung by Scuttle and the Gulls

Ariel and Flounder head to the water's surface to see Scuttle, who as an "encycloPOOdia" of knowledge about the stuff humans use, shares his wisdom.

Say thatcha wanna have a hairdo
Like the folks who live up there do
That'll flap their wigs!

Well, you'll look absolutely dandy
If you use one of these handy
Little thingmajigs!

Pick up the dinglehopper, just like so
Twirl it the way I'm twirling now!
Give it a little yank, and there ya go!
You're what they call "the dog's meow"
